I've gone the Home Depot/Lowes route, and even bought a battery powered sprayer that was pretty cool but simply too heavy. The best ones lasted a couple of years before they either started leaking or wouldn't hold pressure, and forget about buying parts and repairing. The great thing about Chapins in general and this model in particular are the brass wand, the Constant Flow Valve, the pressure gauge on the wand, and the fact you can completely disassemble, lubricate, and repair any part of the sprayer. A key test for a sprayer is to fill it, and then tip it upside down and sideways to see if it leaks. The Chapin has O-rings and gaskets everywhere there is pressurized liquid. If they leak, you simply replace them or re-lube them with a little Vaseline. Also compare the quality of the hose, fitting, and wand assembly. What is even more remarkable is the Chapin is no more expensive than the sprayers that will break or wear out sooner. You can tell just from the design and materials the folks at Chapin take pride in their product.
