(More customer reviews)I originally bought this case to carry my Stihl MS390 with a 20" bar. The body of the saw is a tad too big, so the box won't close.
My old Stihl 026 with an 18" or 20" bar fits perfectly though, and there's plenty of room to spare for odds and ends, like bar oil, chain files, screnches and the likes. For a laugh, I stuck a Homelite 150 in there, and I could just about stack two of them inside the case.
The bar scabbard is pretty tight fitting, and I found it much easier to slide on and off if the chain brake is released. Overall the case feels rather rigid, and I like how it's got built in recesses on the sides for lifting in addition to the top handle. I also like how it's square and I can put stuff on top of it, unlike my Stihl case that's odd shaped and seems to just get in the way of everything else.
